FC 24 Title Update 11 – The Most Important Changes
FC 24 has just received its latest ‘Spring Update’, AKA Title Update #11 with a slew of adjustments and additions to fully immerse players both tactically and visually. This is a pretty big update and with the update comes a bit of confusion for the playerbase who don’t know what the latest changes are.

PlayStyle Adjustments
The most important changes in Update #11 have to be the adjustments made to some PlayStyles. Not all PlayStyles have been buffed or nerfed, but some are more significantly changed than others so it’s a good idea to check out the list to see what’s better or worse in the new update.
Improvements
- Pinged Pass+ – Driven pass accuracy increased
- Press Proven+ – Strength attribute effectiveness while shielding increased / overall shield effectiveness increased
- Power Header – Lower powered headers ball speed increased
Nerfs
- Tiki Taka – First-time pass accuracy & pass quality lowered
- Pinged Pass – Driven pass accuracy decreased
- Jockey – Max Sprint Jockey speed reduced
- Press Proven – On-ball shielded effectiveness reduced
- Long Ball Pass & Long Ball Pass+ – Cross accuracy decreased
- Deadball – Set piece preview line length decreased
Significant Nerfs
- Power Header+ – Medium – High powered headers ball speed reduced
- Relentless & Relentless+ – Stamina recovery amount after half time & extra time reduced
- Aerial+ – Added jump height from running/jogging amount reduced
- Power Shot & Power Shot+ – Power Shots ball speed reduced
Legendary Difficulty Changes & CPU AI Tuning
Besides the massive PlayStyle changes, the Spring Update has some significant changes to the Legendary difficulty as well as some changes to how CPU AI behaves in specific situations.
In particular, Legendary AI teams that use the Tiki Taka playstyle are now less likely to use that style of play when nearing your penalty area and goalpost. CPU AI teams will also perform shot types that are related to their PlayStyles.
And lastly, players on the CPU team who have lower ‘Composure’ attributes will make more mistakes when you press them.
Overall, these changes are a good sign for players since it makes Legendary CPU teams less of a pain to play against.
In the Spring Update announcement, EA Sports mentions their “objective is to give more agency to our players, especially on the defensive side”
Meaning, it’s easier to defend and predict how the AI will react when nearing your side of the pitch. The new CPU AI changes will be available in both Ultimate Team and Career Mode.
Brand New Animations & Updated Star Heads
One of the most exciting new changes in FC 24 has to be the updated animations and in-game assets. In particular, FIFA 24 has added 4-new shooting animations and 1 new clearance animation that are built with the HyperMotionV tech using volumetric data.
In simple terms, they recorded and brought real-life player movements and styles and made them available in the game. A more realistic and life-like interpretation of how players would actually move with the ball.
Oh, and there’s an all-new skill move, the Idle Stepover, a favorite of the maestro Vinícius Jr!
And to top things off, EA Sports FC 24 has updated 86-star player’s heads and updated 9 additional players to have more realistic and accurate representations of how they look in IRL.
